Regionals Recap

Congratulations to the Steel Bridge Team on a 2nd place finish at the Upstate New York Regional Conference! They are now off to compete in the national competition at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign May 25-26. Other highlights were 1st place in Steel Bridge Oral Presentation and 3rd overall at the conference. The Concrete Canoe Team placed 4th and is hopeful to receive one of six wildcards to nationals drawn next weekend.

Engineering Expressions Volunteers Needed The ASCE Buffalo Section is hosting an engineering workshop to teach 7th and 8th grade students about civil engineering at Holland Junior High. This outreach program aligns with the ASCE Vision and Mission of promoting civil engineering. We will be helping them out as they need volunteers to help run the sessions on Friday May 4 from 10:30 to 2:30. The new ASCE movie Dream Big will be shown at the event! Buffalo Sewer Authority Interns The Buffalo Sewer Authority is seeking summer interns to join our team.
